Hello my friend! Welcome to “But I Love To Eat” Blog.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Tamara, I am 41 years old and it all started with that basic plan: to finish university, get a job, find a husband, become a mom…well, I was 100% on it until the last two…that didn’t really work out well. Then I turned 30 and my basic plan got upgraded: I was working in a school as a Russian language teacher, when I got a job on a cruise ship. All of a sudden everything has changed. I left all behind and went into unknown. Instead of an hour commute to the school, I got to wake up in a different country every single day – one morning it was Monte Carlo, the next day it was Iceland (well not exactly like that, but you get the picture). I got opportunity to see the world, to visit some awesome places and meet some incredible people. My new job gave me opportunity to grow and develop myself, to learn my strengths and to work on my weaknesses. It was really an amazing journey through self-discovery while discovering the world.

Right now, after 12 years of constant travelling, I am taking a long vacation and staying at home for a change. I have a new challenge in front of me. This time I am on a very important mission – to lose weight. Let’s see how that will go.
Few more things about me:
Things that I love
Books – Reading is one of my favorite hobbies
Painting – Recently I discovered that I actually can paint, and I have a lot of fun with it
Cooking, eating – anything related to food goes under my favorite
Dresses – that is my thing. I probably can go for about 3 months without wearing the same dress twice. My favorite are those with pockets and customized to my liking, I will tell you sometimes about that too. On the other hand I don’t have even one pair of panths…crazy, I know.
Marvel Superheroes – it didn’t take much to get completely hooked to the Avengers, X-men and other Marvel superheroes. Now I started reading comic books and have a lot of material to catch up.
Things that I don’t like
Excuses – I hate when people make lame excuses
Stupidity – I was told that there is no such a thing as a common sense…well, there should be, right?!?
Exercising – but I still do it three times a week – what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger
Lies – I cannot stand it when people lie into my face
I am starting this blog to share my experience with weight loss – all my struggles and success stories. I think that any piece of information we can share on this topic can be valuable, as so many people has these issues. The truth is that in most of the cases we have extra kilograms because we like to eat, because we don’t pay attention when, how much and what we eat. This modern society has brought us a lot of benefits, but also it made us lazy and more inert then ever. So yes, I want to lose weight, but I love to eat…makes it a bit of a problem, right?
